Project CLASS is committed to benefiting tens of thousands, potentially hundreds of thousands more children, teachers and parents based on the tidal wave of need for core-foundation social skills in our schools, families, community and across the country. Recognizing this need, HAP has written the first two books in a series of children’s books focused on social skills.
The Books in the series focus on core-foundation social skills for children. Core-foundation social skills are the ABC basic underpinning skills critical for development of more complex social skills and all relationships. These skills determine Success or Failure.
The Social Skills Books in the series are for children, teachers, parents, grandparents, foster parents, youth ministers, daycare and after-school staff whose children struggle with Paying Attention, Following Instructions, Accepting No, Accepting Feedback, Getting Adult Attention, Calming Down when Angry and Making Good Choices. Each Book and accompanying resources provide guidance and simple ways for children to improve their success in getting along better with others & doing well at home, at school and in the community.
